李广社，男，研究员, 博士研究生导师。1989年毕业于吉林大学物理系；1994年，获吉林大学凝聚态物理理学硕士学位。1997年获吉林大学无机化学理学博士学位，导师是冯守华院士。1997年8月-1999年末在西安交通大学电子材料与器件实验室从事博士后研究,合作导师是姚熹院士。2000年初-2001年8月，从事先进纳米粉体材料的合成和性能研究。2001年-2004年从事博士后合作研究，研究方向是纳米材料的热力学性能 (Energetics of Nanomaterials)。2004年初到福建物质结构研究所工作。现为国家"知识创新工程"中国科学院福建物质结构研究所，纳米材料研究室课题组长。美国化学学会会员。为Journal of the American Chemical Society, Chemistry of Materials, Journal of Solid State Chemistry，Journal of Colloid & Interface Science，Thermochimica Acta和Journal of Supercritical Fluid,中国科学B, 中国物理快报等国内外重要学术期刊的特邀审稿人。在JACS, APL, Adv. Mater, Chem. Mater.等国际期刊上发表过多篇重要论文。迄今共发表论文40余篇。承担国家自然科学基金和福建省纳米专项。近年来致力于新型纳米氧化物材料，新物质材料和纳米复合材料的合成与电学性能的研究。在读硕士生6人，博士生5人。
研究兴趣和研究方向:
先进能源材料中关键基础问题的研究；先进电解质材料的结构和离子输运性能；自旋电子学用铁磁纳米半导体材料的合成与性能；新型纳米光催化材料；锂离子电池用纳米电极材料。
