吴立明 男，1973年7月生，博士、研究员、博士生导师。1993和1996 年在北京师范大学化学系获得理学学士和理学硕士学位；1999年在福州大学化学系获得理学博士学位。1999年至2001年在中国科学院福建物质结构研究所从事博士后研究， 2001至2004年从事博士后研究。2004年到中科院福建物质结构研究所从事科研工作，任课题组长，副研究员。2005年1月至今担任课题组长，研究员。 在硕士、博士期间本人主要从事量子化学的理论研究。近年来本人研究领域主要包括固态化学（合成化学、结构化学），纳米材料制备新方法及纳米结构研究、新颖功能材料、理论化学、有机-无机杂化材料等。并取得了出色的成果，已在J. Am. Chem. Soc.，Inorg. Chem.等国际一流杂志上发表固体材料合成，纳米制备等一系列重要研究结果。目前，本课题组承担有国家自然科学基金，福建省重大专项子课题，结构化学国家重点实验室基金等。此外，本人还为所内研究生开设了专业课程“固体量子化学”
